Meetings

The SD41 Democrats have several different kinds of meetings.  All of them are open to the public.

Business Meetings

The principal business meeting is the monthly Central Committee (CC) meeting, which is generally held at the Edina Community Center.  Occasionally these meetings will include a speaker.  They are primarily for officers, directors, and precinct chairs, who constitute the CC, but anyone is welcome to attend.

In addition, from time to time meetings of the Executive Committee (EC) are held, usually on short notice, when some matter must be dealt with immediately.  These are primarily for officers and directors, who constitute the EC.

Social and Educational Meetings

A variety of informal social gatherings and educational meetings take place during the year. 

Among the most popular are the monthly "Link" meetings.  These usually feature a speaker on a topic of current interest.  They are also a great way to meet other Democrats and to catch up on local political goings-on.
