Here's a quick view of how delegates are selected for the conventions where endorsements will be decided:

1) at precinct caucuses on 2/2/2010, each precinct chose delegates to the Senate District 41 convention; precincts usually get around 20 delegate slots for the Senate District convention

2) at the Senate District conventions on 3/6/2010,
     a) endorsements are decided for state legislature, and
     b) delegates are elected to the CD3 and state conventions
 
3) at the CD3 convention on 4/10/2010, a candidate is endorsed for 3rd Congressional District race

4) at state DFL convention on 4/23 to 4/25, endorsements are made for Governor and the other state-wide offices
