Current edition:
*** DFL congressional candidates Jim Meffert and Tarryl Clark turn up the
heat, and
*** Secretary of State Mark Ritchie talks about democracy Minnesota style
Jim Meffert and Tarryl
Clark are finding increasing numbers of people in their respective
congressional districts who feel ignored by the Republican “career
politicians” who represent them in the Congress.
Meffert and Clark tell Democratic Visions host Tim O’Brien
that they feel that Erik Paulsen's and Michele Bachmann's unwavering support
of the U.S. House Republican caucus shows that they are out of touch with
Minnesota and focused on representing special interests of little concern to
their constituents.
In another segment, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie
returns to Democratic Visions for the first time since the Franken/Coleman
recount process to shed light on why Minnesota’s
voting system is held in such high esteem around the country.
